Can just recommend for a brief weekend stay

we had a lovely room with a beautiful garden view. the breakfast was enjoyable, and the staff were all super pleasant and helpful. the location is nice and close to the seaside, making it easy to explore. a standout was the excellent service from the team, which made our stay even better.

It was just a commendable fit for a weekend stopover in Ilfracombe with extraordinarily good value for money. The chef really catered well to dietary needs, providing me with lactose-free options that were hot and tasty. For those visiting, check out the lovely local beaches for a nice day out.

the staff were super nice and always helped us out. the location is really great, just a short walk to the beach. our room was surprisingly spacious and we enjoyed the high ceilings and big windows. comfy bed and decent hot water in the shower! also, loved that it was easy to explore the town from the hotel.

the room was pretty outdated and felt like it needed a makeover. also, the shower didn’t work properly, and we could only partially cover the windows with the curtains.

Staff here were just brilliant, really made us feel welcome you know. We had a huge room with massive windows and high ceilings, honestly felt like I could've pitched a tent in there. The dog-friendly policy was a huge plus, we could bring our furry friend along for the fun.

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but it was still acceptable.

Great value stay!

I stayed here for a couple of nights and it was solid! The room was clean and comfy. The staff were super friendly. Breakfast had a nice variety, I loved the fresh fruits. Just wish the bathroom had a bit more space to move around, it felt kinda cramped. But otherwise, really enjoyed my time!

Outdated decor in rooms could use refreshing!!! Noise from creaky floors and external sources made it tough to get a good night’s sleep!!! Limited parking availability can be frustrating!!!

The room was more spacious than I ever imagined, with high ceilings and massive windows that brought in plenty of light. I loved the evening entertainment and the cozy lounge area to unwind after a busy day. Just a heads-up, parking can be a bit tricky on weekends, so arrive early! 😊

Great lounge bar but long waits for food during busy times.

I enjoyed my stay at the Dilkhusa in Ilfracombe. The staff were genuinely friendly and always willing to help. My room, while a bit quirky, had clean beds and bright white towels. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. There was a good selection, especially at breakfast, which I found satisfying. The location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions. I did notice some areas needing improvement. The rooms felt dated and the shower pressure could have been better. On one occasion, I struggled with inconsistent water temperature. The hotel layout was a bit confusing as well, making navigation a challenge. Despite these issues, my overall experience was enjoyable. I'd consider returning for the good service and attractive dining options.
